At every stage of development, the Kindermusik curriculum is designed to give children the opportunity to grow in not only their musical abilities, but also in other crucial learning areas. These include cognition and executive function, social and emotional capacity, creativity, physical literacy, language, reading, and logic. Each class follows a recognizable routine with musical activities, movement, singing, rhyming, and child-caregiver bonding. We engage your child’s mind and senses during these most critical developmental years.

Classes are 45 minutes long, offered in 4-week units, or in 12-week terms. All families who enroll receive Digital Home Materials with their registration. Because of the progressive nature of each unit and with the cost of home materials for each curriculum, this program is not available for drop-in. However, all new families are encouraged to attend a commitment-free trial class to make sure that Kindermusik is a good fit. We recognize that every family is at a different stage in their journey and we will do as much as we can to accommodate your individual needs.

Our regular season program features 5 levels of Kindermusik classes. Fees are $55.00 per 4-week unit ($38.00 for additional siblings) or $155 per 12-week term ($126.00 for additional siblings). A $10.00 membership fee will be charged upon registration if your family does not already hold a current membership to the Dawson Creek Choral Society.

Three consecutive units for each level, with Digital Home Materials provided.

Term 2: January 6 to April 24

If fees are a burden to your family and prevent your attendance in any way, please consider applying to the Dawson Creek Arts and Wellness Fund or to our internal DCCS Bursary Fund.
