OUR MISSION: To instill a culture of lifelong love of music. To build connections between our members, our families, and our community; connections made by a conscious dedication to personal and social growth in the performing arts. To discover our collective voices in song, and to create harmony in the world around us.
The Dawson Creek Choral Society is a not-for-profit community organization that provides music education opportunities in the South Peace region. Our programs include community choirs for ages 5 and up, as well as children’s musical theatre, Kindermusik, and a variety of summer camps. DCCS participates in many community initiatives throughout the year, as well as our own concerts and special events. If you are interested in volunteering at our events, becoming a sponsor, or participating in any way, please contact our Board of Directors. We are a member of the BC Choral Federation, Choral Canada, the South Peace Community Arts Council, and the Northern Lights Community Charitable Gaming Association.
We hold monthly meetings open to all members and meeting minutes are available upon request. For more information on DCCS, please email Artistic Director, Caitlyn Triebel.
