Please be aware that due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, our April and May events have been postponed. Your tickets will still be valid for the new dates. For current members, we are offering weekly video meet-ups and rehearsals, as well as online resources we continue to work to stay connected. We thank you for your support and understanding at this time.
As an organization, we have taken some proactive and specific measures to facilitate social distancing for our members and for the public at large. Please read the attached Statement from the DCCS Board of Directors (March 17, 2020) regarding our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an unprecedented time for all arts organizations across the country and around the world, as we see our major events get canceled or postponed, and we become distanced from each other out of necessity.
The Dawson Creek Choral Society is a not-for-profit community organization providing music education opportunities in the South Peace region. Throughout the year, we participate in many community initiatives, as well as host our own concerts and special events. If you are interested in volunteering at our events, becoming a sponsor, or participating in any way, please contact our Board of Directors. We are a member of the BC Choral Federation, Choral Canada, the South Peace Community Arts Council, and the Northern Lights Community Charitable Gaming Association.
Find us on Facebook or follow us on Instagram @dcchoralsociety.
We hold monthly meetings open to all members and meeting minutes are available upon request. For more information on DCCS, please email Artistic Director, Caitlyn Triebel.
